My second graders need to be safe and secure when they return to the school building. A big part of that is having clean air to breathe. Even though our room has an air conditioner, it does not serve to purify the air. I am requesting a portable air purifier with filters, in order to give my students, and their families, peace of mind that they are working in a healthy environment. Being socially distanced in the classroom, and wearing a mask all day will make my students uncomfortable. Being able to supply them with cleaner air will make a small but impactful difference in their moods, attitudes, and ability to learn. I know they will appreciate your support, as do I!
