The Lakeshore Magic Boards will allow each student to self assess. Individually, a student can practice writing until it reaches its own standard of quality. Eventually, doodles will become letters and letters will become words. With lots of practice, I hope students build the confidence to tell a story and begin to write using invented spelling that looks as close to the word as possible. The Magna Doodle will allow doodle masterpieces worthy to present and share with their peers in the classroom and learning centers. These boards will help provide a hands-on learning experience.
