I love including literature in my art lessons. These books will be paired with lessons and read to students before they begin creating, or for them to look at once they have finished their artwork. Additionally, the carpet will help create a comforting environment in our classroom when students return and be a meeting place for students as they enter the classroom and before they leave. Even with our school year starting virtually, I will include these books in lessons and share via Zoom to help enrich our art projects whether they are made at home or in our classroom.
