The items being requested are to help my students primarily work on their reading and writing skills. By having just a simple notebook and a pencil, I can get very creative with the assignments I have my students complete. This is my students first year for state testing, so I want to ensure they grasp the importance that reading and writing because it's very important for their futures. The assignments I will include to help my students further their learning is by helping them how to read and write cursive, creating short stories, drawing responses to what they've just read, or just putting down their ideas on to paper. There are so many things I can do with just being able to provide them with a notebook and something to write with, so the assignments will be endless.
