The tools will be used in Social and Emotional Learning to help students learn what to do when they are upset, frustrated, anxious, etc. The tools will be used to help students to be calm and focused on the learning taking place in the classroom. The flexible seating and fidget tools will be used during instruction to help students focus and be able to still move and fidget while learning. Students will have access to the tools every day and will help with de-escalations that can occur in the classroom.
