Students will be able to use coding robots in the classroom setting to emphasize creative and critical thinking. Coding books can be used in the classroom setting or checked out to students to be able to read at home. We are working to create 21st century learners that are inventive, engaged, informed, and intellectual. Coding resources can help promote all these skills in students. These learned skills to carry over into any aspect of their lives, both in their home life and academically. Students will be more creative and increase their critical thinking skills. I would also like to use the If/Then Collection to specifically show girls that they can grow up to be scientists in a variety of fields, including coding.
