The Teacher Pay Teacher gift card will be used to buy chemistry task cards and chemistry escape room activities. Building a complex periodic table which will contain name, symbol, atomic mass, atomic number, gas/liquid/solid, and the elements Lewis dot structure. Students will be given an element of the week to learn about its individual characteristics. The acid/base chemical reaction and silver replacement reaction will help students understand chemical and replacement reactions. We will write and balance chemical equations from both laboratory activities. Students will connect the acid/base reaction to acid rain in our environment.
