The most important thing in my classroom is, and always will be, my students. I am passionate about creating and fostering a safe and inclusive environment where every single student can feel loved and accepted. However, I can't create a place for students to feel fully accepted if I only provide texts that represent a certain student. I want to provide a large variety of diverse texts that feature stories with all different types of young people. I have a small collection of books that I have collected over my time in college, but there are still quite a few titles I would like to provide to my students. The books on this list will all go into my personal classroom library, where students are free to check out books to read and return.
