In the music room, my students play ukuleles, keyboards, drums, and xylophones. At home, most of my students don't have any musical instruments. Due to COVID-19, students will be in school for reading and math, but they will be remote learning for special area classes such as music. Recorders Rock would provide each student with a Soprano recorder to learn to play at home during our music classes over Zoom. Students will continue to learn to read, improvise, appreciate, create and love music. Music class would continue to feature hands-on learning, even while learning remotely. Thank you for considering this grant to help keep the music playing!
