The materials I am seeking are to help my students with this new environment of learning. With the guidelines of social distancing, the use of tables in my room is going to be a big challenge in my classroom as I do not have access to desks. I also want to be able to use the outdoors as my classroom as much as I can so that we can keep a distance and enjoy the fresh air! I will be using the pencil boxes as a way for my students to keep any manipulatives they need for all subject areas (especially math) right at their fingertips. I will use the chalk to support that outdoor learning. The chalk and pencil boxes are items students could take home if our style of learning changes to an at home model. With these materials, my students will be able to feel successful in our classroom even with the social distancing that must happen.
