Digital learning is part of our world, whether students will be learning in person or at home (or a mix of both). I'm seeking funding to purchase a subscription to Flocabulary, an online library of songs, lessons and activities. Why Flocabulary? Because music helps us learn! The educational hip hop rap songs on Flocabulary's website are entertaining and catchy. There are songs for every subject. Students love them! They ask me to play their favorites over and over again. The good part is they are learning important concepts and vocabulary through the songs. I will be able to share these education music videos in the virtual classroom as well as the in-person classroom. Another reason that I LOVE using music videos is because my school does not have Music classes (or Art classes, for that matter). That's why I think it is imperative that I integrate music into my lessons. Flocabulary is one way that I can do that, and it will add joy and excitement to my classroom! Thank you!
