The subscription to the TIME For Kids magazine will help my students increase their background knowledge by providing authentic and relatable information for them. Current events and problems we face in the world today are just as important for our students to explore just as much as they are for adults. Students should have the opportunity to research and discover information from unbiased sources, and this resource will ensure this happens. During this time, all students should feel safe in their classroom -- this can be accomplished by providing them with individual school supplies. The days of sharing supplies in the classroom have long past us, and each student should have the security of knowing that their school supplies will not get them sick.

About my class
