Very soon we will be going back to school face to face amid thee on going Covid-19 pandemic. Traditionally, my amazing kinderdoodles would share one listening center. We would work on social skills suck as book sharing, turn taking, and listening comprehension skills. Now, I am restructuring my kindergarten classroom for social distancing. The listening center provided will allow me to set up my classroom listening center so that my students are able to sit 6 feet apart while listening to stories of far off lands. My students have also been away from school for now 5 plus months many of whom haven't finished a traditional 4k setting. We will need to work diligently on students over all emotional health. Through the use of play and Legos, we will work on learning about our emotions and emotional well being. Each child will need their own Lego set to manipulate where in years passed we would have shared. Your kindness goes a long way in the heart and eyes of a kindergarten student. We can't thank you enough!
