C-pens will help my students that struggle to read fluently. Students can scan any text, and the pen will read the text aloud to them. There is also a function for definitions and to convert the scanned text into notes for the students. If student's struggle with reading skills, it can affect them in other academic areas. C-pens will help my students be able to read and comprehend text independently. If students do not understand a specific word, the C-pen will give them a definition. All scanned text can be sent to a computer and printed out as notes for later review. This is an excellent tool to foster independence and student success in the classroom.
