For a teacher to be great, he/she must first understand and recognize the patterns of how learners conceptualize information and understand that all students learn and develop differently as individuals across all scopes of development. To meet students individually where they are across the developmental scopes, teachers must design a developmentally appropriate lesson, implement the lesson in the appropriate way, and then still be able to provide a challenging learning experience for all students. This takes the very basics of supplies to meet every student where they are. This is why I'm asking for glue, scissors, wobble chairs- all will be used to meet every child's needs.
