We want kids to be excited to sign online for school! We want them to keep coming back for more! This Scholastic-Scope for ELA is an online resource for my kids that provides the standards based informational materials my district requires, but also provides them with the high-interest content they need to stay engaged online. The Scholastic materials are colorful, vibrant, interesting, easy to use and facilitate, and provide the multi-media aspect to learning that kids need! Sometimes getting teenagers to read willingly is hard. It's even harder to get them to read "boring" articles and complete expository writing assignments. This resource provides informational learning that is interesting and dare I even say...FUN! AND it has the ELD component for my language learners that they need! Please help me make this happen for my virtual classroom,
