Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools are remote this year. Virtual learning is especially challenging for younger children. My first grade ESOL class already faces many obstacles learning a new language. They need to practice reading and writing letters of the alphabet, high frequency words, and short sentences. The students will use these whiteboards at home during our online classroom sessions to keep them engaged during various activities. The whiteboards will allow the kids to learn visually, and practice as we go along. I will also need a large whiteboard to draw pictures that correlate with the lessons, note the classroom daily objectives, and have students easily follow assignments.
