My students have disabilities and will use these Chromebooks and calculators in order to be able to do their class-work whether at school or at home. In 5th grade, students can use the Chromebooks to write their papers, do research, and find their assignments on Google Classroom. My remote learning students may not have technology available at home and would be able to use the Chromebooks to do their work. They can use the calculators to do their 5th grade level math. Many of my students have 'calculator' as an accommodation that they can use on their work and on state testing.
