These materials will allow my students to have individual math tool kits and reading bags to prevent the sharing of materials. The dice, spinners and two sided chips will not only be used in everyday lessons but can also be used during math games to support the concept being taught. These materials will be used with laminated resources I will also provide. The reading bags will allow students to have their own personal library of books at their desks. These portable tool kits allow students to have the materials needed in the classroom and at home if needed. My students will be more engaged and will have the opportunity to work "hands on" with materials to help support in the development and understanding of their math skills. There are some big changes to the classroom this year but that doesn't mean the learning should be any different for our students.
