No one could have expected how intensely the COVID-19 pandemic would impact every aspect of our lives, including education. I have moved to a new school and am working with an entirely new group of amazing students. Sadly, for at least the first few weeks but quite possibly much longer, I will be working with my new students by virtual means. In special education, so much of our work relies on the use of multiple modes of engagement. Learning how best to address students' individual needs is the cornerstone of my practice. the Many of my students have great success utilizing physical manipulatives and lots of hands-on, however providing that type of physical in-person instruction is not possible during this time of social distancing and isolation. Thankfully, many teacher creators on Teachers Pay Teachers have created fantastic resources that are standards-based and align with my school's curriculum and my student's individual goals. By helping to fund my project, you will help me be able to more quickly respond to my students' educational needs during this time of distance learning. Thanks so much in advance for your support!
