The project materials will allow my students, who are distance learning, to be successful in math, reading and writing. Each student will have an individual learning kit which will include : ten frame magnetic paddles, whiteboards, manipulatives and child size scissors that will be used for both math and ela. The students can count with magnetic counting chips then hold them up to show their answer. Unifix cubes will be used for addition and dice for playing letter and math games. Dry erase pocket sleeves make it possible for students to practice fine motor skills, making it fun and easy for self correction. Personal headphones will allow students to be fully immersed and engaged in all lessons. When students are learning from home they will have all the necessary developmentally appropriate tools and materials they need. My students will be successful in kindergarten if they have all the tools and materials they need at home. Using a multi-sensory approach with manipulatives which will keep them actively engaged.
