School is a safe place where we can provide consistency and support! However, many of our students do not have the same consistency and support in their home environment. I work at a Title I school who serves 300+ students who come from various backgrounds. Many of our students' families do not have access to mental health services and I am trying to bridge the gap and advocate for our student's social and emotional health! As a school counselor, I am working towards building an inviting counseling experience where students know they are valued and supported!
