This project will integrate reading writing, math, physical activity and FUN! We all know that students need the opportunity to get outside, socialize and play, however in this time of COVID 19, these basic student needs have become very challenging. My students will read articles about several games /activities that were popular in the past, they will then create ways that these activities, or games can be adapted for use at a six foot distance. After first drafting a written proposal, they will peer edit each others work and then rewrite the rules for their new ideas of play. A final presentation will be prepared, in a method of their choosing, for presentaton to their fellow classmates.
