I dream of having a classroom library full of books that represent all of my students and their families and backgrounds. I want them to learn through reading, seeing, and hearing about the history of our country and our people and to grow to love reading because they can relate to what they are reading. Each book, book bag, and book shelf will provide my students with the learning environment that supports growth, acceptance, and differences and embraces each student for who they are. I want my students to have a variety of books to choose from, and I want to represent them all in ways they can see and read about.
