The students will use these books to complete science vocabulary foldables and their online science vocabulary stack. Students will write the word, the definition, and then draw a picture that represents that word in their paper foldable. They will then add that word online to a vocabulary stack (slide show) where they will type the word, the definition, a sentence using that word in correct context, and finally they choose an image to paste into that word's slide. A classroom set of these books will help my students, many of whose 1st language is not English, to learn science vocabulary. While using the books to learn the science vocabulary, they will also be learning to use glossaries and indexes. In addition, they will be working out their motor skills while cutting and pasting the foldables and typing in their vocabulary stack.
