Staying focused in chemistry can often be extremely difficult, especially for my students with hyperactivity and sensory disorders. These supplies will help me provide flexible seating options for my students that need to fidget or keep moving in order to stay focused. Additionally, LED lighting has been connected to an increased number of headaches, anxiousness, and stomach pains. In these trying times, I want to do everything I possibly can to ensure that my students have access to a comfortable, engaging, and safe classroom. All of these items can be easily disinfected between class periods. Socially distanced classrooms feel strange and uncomfortable, but these items will help restore at least some level of normalcy for my students.
