I have chosen leveled readers to start the year off on the right foot, by allowing them to feel successful and encouraged to continue on in their literary journey. This books are leveled so that ALL are able to read independently and can be used during DEAR time or during Independent Reading stations. To supplement their learning, I will use the TPT gift card to purchase and implement the Daily 5 framework for language arts: read to self, read to buddy, listen to reading, work on writing, and word work.

About my class
