Most of my students are poor/ live in tiny apartments/motels or our local shelter. Oil pastels are very hard to find in any store out here and can be expensive if purchased online. This is a medium that combines drawing with the look of paint. They are portable and less messy then acrylic paint. The Projects I have created will help with their mental health and well-being, will be suitable for all students regardless of gender/nationality/age/ and special needs. We also know that students who are happy and engaged in learning are better people in every way. Art makes that makes that magic happen! With covid we are not allowed to share supplies as we have in the past. I would like most of my students to have their own set that they will use for many creative lessons this year. Thank you from the bottom of my heART for your help and support!
