As a first-year teacher last year I spent many hours shopping for classroom materials and resources such as pencils, markers, pencil sharpeners, and inspirational/educational posters that were all unfortunately thrown away during cleaning due to COVID. I was unaware that everything I had purchased out of pocket was going to be thrown away, including data spreadsheets, my laminated word wall in both Spanish and English, calendars, and Spanish to English posters. If you choose to donate to my classroom, you are helping both myself and my students to rebuild what was lost because of the pandemic. I will be endlessly thankful that my students will be given these valuable resources back to them.
