Due to COVID 19, we are trying to keep students as safe as possible. With each student having their own supplies, it will make the classroom a safer place by not spreading germs. By having two class sets of hard surface items, it will allow time for items such as rulers and scissors to be wiped down and sanitized between classes. Our Algebra curriculum utilizes hands-on, problem based learning and the students NEED supplies. Equipping my students with their own supplies will let them concentrate on learning Algebra and not worrying about how this Corona Virus has changed how schools operate. It will make them feel safer and confident that they are being protected as much as possible in math class. Students can bring supplies home to complete homework assignments if necessary. The students will be using supplies on a weekly if not a daily basis.
