Having Amazon Tablets, with the protective cases, will make an enormous difference in my students' education. A main activity, to engage my students, is coding. By coding, students are exposed to real-world situations and opens up the door for new learning. A lesson in our curriculum is fire safety. By using the Amazon Fire Tablets, students will have the chance to use the Scratch Jr. application to advance their knowledge about fire safety and code an escape route to share with others. This activity will be engaging and telling of their knowledge. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement, you will help to increase their academic achievement. The Amazon Tablets will help my students learn in a new, engaging way where activities for all learning styles are available. In our classroom, we are showing our work and explaining our thinking in every subject. With these Fire Tablets, students will be able to express their ideas. For future learning opportunities, students will be able to use these tablets to explore games to enhance their learning, use search engines, like PebbleGo, to learn new facts, and use SeeSaw or Flipgrid to share their work and give feedback to other students. These Fire Tablets offer great applications for math and reading that can be used as a supplement to our curriculum, where students can be independent learners. This new technology will prepare my young learners for future technology activities and give them a new world of learning with endless opportunities.
