Distance learning is so different from regular school. While there is an expectation to supply students with a rigorous curriculum, there are many challenges that exist when access to learning materials is not equitable. My goal for this project to supply each one of my students with equal access to classroom supplies that will support learning success at a distance. I have hand-picked a few things that I think support hands/on learning and application, will support students during our virtual small group instruction, and items that are used in our regular classroom on a daily basis such as mobile flip chart easel to view and/or refer to anchor charts-- demonstration mini lessons of teaching strategies. Two-color counters and colored linking cubes for solving addition and/or subtraction problems. Dry erase boards for practicing daily handwriting, writing out spelling words as well as solving math problems.
