The project that I will focus on has to do with our current global situation that everyone in the world is dealing with, the Coronavirus. Since this is my first year teaching Geography, I lack the basic materials needed to engage my students in a Geography project. I chose globes for my classroom, along with "blow-up" globes for an additional engaging game which will be used for review, and working on the project. With these materials, I will be able to successfully accomplish my goal of teaching the students about the global impact of a pandemic in 2020. The students will be able to observe the globes, use interactively, and discuss problems that the world has had to face due to the pandemic. I plan to use the materials, such as the globes, workbooks, maps, and paper specifically for this project, and will use them throughout the year for future Geography projects as well.
