These materials will be utilized throughout the school year both in person and online. Students will have the chance to explore the classroom library and read inspiring books that will help them feel comfortable in their own skin as well as celebrate the differences between themselves and their classmates. The books will be used for students' personal use or read alouds. These materials will be used for online instruction for recorded read alouds throughout the school year. By having these books in my classroom library, students will feel represented and included. The books selected focus on students' individuality as well as teaching students about having a growth mindset. Students will be reassured through literature that it is okay to make mistakes and to focus on improving.
