I would like to buy a Smart Board to replace the interactive board we had that is now too old to able to be repaired. Smart Boards provide almost unlimited options for presenting notes and material to students, allowing for real-time interactions with graphics, videos, and feedback. Students can also add information directly to the Smart Board from their seats, reply to questions, and give suggestions. Smart Boards have been an invaluable tool in integrating our students with learning disabilities into our mixed classroom. Each of my classes has multiple students with different IEPs (Individual Education Programs). My students have a wide range of abilities and comfort around hearing, speaking, speaking to a group, and processing information. It can be challenging to make sure they feel included, heard, and valued in our energetic and boisterous groups. The Smart Board allows me to work with apps designed to promote interaction across all abilities, allowing our lessons to be inclusive of every one of my wonderful and exceptional students.
