COVID-19 has turned our turned our choir world upside down. Unfortunately it has impacted the music education world considerably. My choir students missed out on so much last spring when school was suddenly closed and they found themselves sitting at home attempting to keep up with online learning. This coming school year we are slated to go back in person, however, the risks of COVID, are making it impossible for choir to be as it was. Without being able to sing in choir like before, learning to play the ukulele together will help strengthen the bond between students, bring joy into the classroom, and reduce much stress and anxiety. This is exactly what my amazing, talented 9th-12th grade choir students need now more than ever. This project includes a beginning ukulele pack & method book for each student along with ukulele storage stands for the classroom.
