My classroom library is small and is in dire need of an update. It's important that I have interesting books for students to read so that they spend their independent reading time engaged in books they actually enjoy. I inherited old outdated books to fill my classroom library when I first became a teacher, and it's time for those to retire. These books will greatly benefit students in my classroom as they get to "shop" the library for their book boxes. Having good books is very important, and I want my students to grow this school year.
