Have you ever been around that one person who insists on drumming his/ her pencil on the desk or constantly kicks the student's desk in front of him/her? As a special education teacher, I have seen both of these situations in the classroom and more. Students who struggle to stay focused also struggle to complete tasks in the classroom. When students are given something to do with their feet that does not interrupt other student's learning with noise or create a mutiny amongst classmates, learning continues and is more successful for everyone. Some students just need to fidget. Why not get students off to a good start with tools to focus their fidgeting! The requested Bouncy Bands and Wiggle Seat Cushions will help my students move without interrupting learning.
