I have decided to utilize a part of my classroom that I can give students more small group guided math instruction. I have a small group table near my desk for guided reading, but I would really like a place in my classroom to have daily small group guided math instruction. With the items I've chosen, I can store guided math manipulatives, laminate math tools/mats for hands on learning, and students will have seating in front of the whiteboard to work that is easy to sanitize for my next group of students. My students will benefit from these donated materials by having accessible hands-on learning in a small group or one-on-one setting during guided math. They will be able to have a space to access math resources through out the day. My goal for these materials and space in my classroom is to provide a independent and accessible area student can use when needed.
