By providing my students with LeapReaders you’re encouraging their love for books and reading. Many of my students are on the verge of reading independently but need some assistance. My students know their letters and letter sounds but are just starting to blend sounds together and sound words out loud. With these devices they will be able to read independently with the help of the LeapReader for words that they do not yet know. This will give my students a chance to have independent reading time throughout the school day much like a general education classroom.
