As a school counselor of 740 students ranging from Pre-K 3 year old's through 5th grade, I understand and see daily the high need for social-emotional learning. In order to help maximize the success of social-emotional learning, resources must be available. Since the pandemic, we have seen an increase in the need for mental health services. My goal is to differentiate my lessons through resources to ensure that I meet the needs of every student whether it be through books, play therapy, art therapy, technology, etc. while teaching our students new skills to implement not only in the classroom, but in every day situations that they can build upon and use for their entire life.

About my class
