As a first year teacher I don't have a stockpile of resources. These students deserve to have access to books and learning materials to keep them engaged in their learning! Children need more opportunities reading and being read to, in order to become fluent readers. That requires books that are at their independent reading level and books they are interested in. It is important to keep children motivated to read from books. They spend so much time with digital resources and they love to have someone that listens to them reading a good book. This requires the materials I have requested to encourage them to become strong readers. I have also selected some resources that helps with hands on math knowledge.
