These books will be used to represent all cultures in my classroom while simultaneously learning story elements, vocabulary and fluency. I will be utilizing these books in our live meetings throughout the week. I will use these books for mentor sentences, visualizing as well as letting these texts make personal connections to the students' everyday lives. Making personal connections is a great way for students to learn and make that learning relevant specifically to them. I want the students to feel that their culture is represented in my class.
