With the pandemic still happening, school this year will be quite different than my past thirty years of teaching first grade. I want to be able to give my students the best of everything, to give them a solid educational foundation for their educational journey. With many lessons being taught remotely and needing to have digital components, I am looking for ways to enhance my students' learning by giving them online resources that they can access. Please help me give my students access to online resources through the Teachers Pay Teachers website. This will aid in remote instruction by donating gift cards for me to use to purchase amazing, digital resources created by teachers who successfully used them with their own students. Teachers are always finding new ways to "recreate the wheel" and make things better! Using materials from the Teachers Pay Teachers website Is a great way for my students to have other amazing options that other teachers created by thinking "outside the box"! With these unprecedented times and extenuating pandemic circumstances, teachers need the collaborative effort of other teachers' ideas now, more than ever. My plan is to use the generously donated gift card to purchase student, online, digital resources for student use in the areas of: penmanship formation, phonemic awareness practice, phonics practice, sight word practice, math manipulatives, numeral writing formation and so much more! Thank you for taking the time to read all of this. We appreciate your willingness to help teachers better help their students and for your generous donation to better enhance my students' learning.
