Reading is the foundation to all learning. The shields will allow them to see and repeat phonics sounds to learn how to read. Students learn phonics by watching the formation of words as they are spoken. My students will be able to interact with each other, as well as me, with the clear desk shields as a safety barrier. Young students learn so much from class activities, I will use the touch-less thermometer to monitor students to ensure they are ready to have closer, safe interaction with each other. Each student will be tested before they are allowed to remove their masks.

About my class
