I will be sending these bears out to my students to use to practice reading aloud since they will be learning from home. It is so important for students to practice reading aloud; it builds their phonemic awareness but it also makes them more confident! If we were in the classroom I would have students read aloud to each other. Since we are not there yet these bears will be their special reading buddy that they will read aloud to! This is really to try to motivate students to practice their reading at home during distance learning!
