My students live in a high poverty, rural area. They lack the life experiences that may be afforded to students in more urban areas. The second grade Arizona science standards for difficult for students to understand without hands on activities. Therefore, I would like to have Stem kits to assist in this endeavor. In addition, COVID has impacted student's stamina to sit and listen to instructions. Therefore, I have requested wobble chairs for alternative seating so they can move and listen at the same time. Lastly, we do lots of writing activities and the magnetic writing paper will help us learn how to structure a paper and apply the information to our learning. Thank you so much for considering my project for funding.
