Through the use of technology (the tablets), my students will be able to use text to speech apps to translate instructions or help them create sentences using high-frequency words they might not know. They can also scan QR codes when they walk the room to work on math problems or have comprehension questions read to them after a read aloud. Students will also be using Quizziz and Kahoot websites to review content in a fun enthusiastic way! Due to the new distance learning environment, some of my students do not have technology devices at home and could benefit from checking them out from our school library. During the previous months, students would have to borrow parents' cell phones to connect to our Google Meetings, this can facilitate a couple of students so they will not be limited to the time they have for availability. We want students to be as engaged as possible and lacking technology should not be an impediment to a student's access to learning!
