These materials will help me as a first year Kindergarten teacher, teach my students how important it is to be kind. Not only does kindness go a long way, but learning to include people no matter what the circumstance is, is also very important. Having books in my classroom library, whether it be in person or virtually is important to me because it is important for kids to get that sort of exposure at a young age. Being able to read and discuss books that show a variety of characters and circumstances will make kids feel more welcome and loved because not everyone is the same.
