While we have an amazing art room at our school, the need for hybrid learning will mean that students will only receive art-on-a-cart this year. This limits the supplies they are allowed to use and share. In a high-needs community like ours, wanting parents to buy sketchbooks, crayons, and markers for each individual student is a big ask. I want to make my kids more excited about the change of pace at school and keep them engaged in art with the limited materials. To keep my students safe, I want to give all of them a sketchbook they can keep in the classroom and personalize while we are braving the pandemic.
